Job summary

Labhya Foundation invites applications for a District Coordinator role in Gujarat. You will monitor KGBV program quality through field visits, analyze data, and build strong relationships with wardens and district officials.

The position requires travel across Gujarat and ownership of documentation tasks. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in education or social sciences, with 2+ years in development/NGO sectors, fluency in Gujarati, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social science, or any field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional full-time work experience preferably in development/ NGO/ education sector.
• Fluency in Gujarati (written and spoken) is mandatory; Proficiency in English is a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively across diverse and remote KGBV locations per program needs.
• Based in tier-2/3/4 cities or towns in Gujarat.
• On-ground experience with children and youth; interest in SEL and adolescent well-being.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
• Owns a personal laptop for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assigned KGBV visits to monitor implementation quality.
• Collect, review, and analyse program data and field insights to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with wardens and district officials, acting as a reliable contact for the program.
• Identify implementation challenges early, drive timely resolution, and escalate critical issues as needed.
• Support ongoing capacity building of wardens and student monitors to strengthen facilitation and implementation quality.
• Ensure accurate and consistent documentation of visits, observations, and actions.
