About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Assistant Manager - Training and Operations to lead, coordinate, and execute our teacher training programs across project locations in Gujarat. This role is pivotal in driving academic quality, conducting large-group capacity-building sessions for educators and key stakeholders, managing program budgets, and tracking execution through monitoring and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Design & Module Development: Design, refine, and produce comprehensive training modules, toolkits, and content tailored for educators and institutional heads.
- Large-Scale Facilitation: Conduct large-group training sessions for teachers, Headmasters (HMs), and government stakeholders.
- Operations & Program Execution: Lead end-to-end planning, coordination, and field execution of training interventions across target districts.
- Monitoring, Evaluation & Classroom Observations: Conduct regular classroom and training observations, assess training effectiveness, analyze M&E data, and implement quality improvement strategies.
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Coordinate and build collaborative relationships with government education departments, school administrators, internal cross-functional teams, and external partners.
- Budgeting & Financial Reporting: Oversee program budgets, track operational expenses, and prepare financial reports.
- Tech & Digital Tool Integration: Leverage technology, MIS platforms, and digital learning tools to deliver hybrid learning and track program metrics.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education (B.Ed., M.Ed., M.A. Education, or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in teacher training, program design, and field operations—preferably within an NGO, CSR initiative, or education enterprise.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Gujarati and Hindi (essential), along with good English communication skills. Candidates local to or based in Gujarat are preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel), presentation software, and web-based MIS application tracking.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional public speaking, presentation, interpersonal, and team-collaboration skills.
- Field Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across project locations in Gujarat. Must possess a valid license and the ability to drive a 2-wheeler.
- Age: 30-45 years.
- Personal Attributes: High ownership, self-starter mindset, and the ability to operate independently in dynamic field settings.
