Job summary

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to build reusable enterprise assets for the Data Engineering CoE and to define platform standards for DBX usage. You will integrate Databricks with AWS/Azure and implement Unity Catalog, Data Lineage, and auditing standards.

Ideal candidates have 12-18 years IT experience with 6-10 years in Data Engineering / Big Data on Databricks, plus 2-5 years in large-scale data processing; proficiency in PySpark,

Qualifications

• Profile: 12-18 years of IT experience with 6-10 yrs exp in Data Engineering/Big Data Platform and 2-5 yrs in large-scale data processing on Databricks.
• Skills: DBX, PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, SQL Warehouse, AWS Cloud Platform, CI/CD, Data Governance.
• Preferred: DBX Certification, MLFlow; Banking/Financial Services background; Agile methodology.
