Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking senior professionals with extensive Core Technical Accounting and Accounting Advisory experience to lead complex accounting matters and financial reporting advisory in Mumbai, India.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle complex technical accounting matters under Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP.
• Prepare and review technical accounting memos, position papers and accounting conclusions.
• Advise on complex transactions, accounting standards implementation and financial reporting matters.
• Support GAAP conversions, transaction accounting, business combinations, PPA and other special accounting matters.
• Review financial statements, disclosures and accounting policies.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on business and financial reporting.
• Partner with senior management, auditors and business stakeholders on accounting conclusions.
• Lead and mentor teams and manage multiple accounting advisory engagements.

• Strong knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP.
• Excellent technical research, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Banking / NBFC profiles will not be considered.
