Qualifications

• Seasoned finance professional with deep technical accounting expertise.
• Strong experience in US GAAP and/or IFRS with accounting research.
• Proven ability to craft technical memos, policies and position papers.
• Experience across Revenue Recognition, Leases, Business Combinations, Consolidation, Investments, Debt/Equity, Impairment and Share-based Payments.

Responsibilities

• Lead as the primary subject matter expert on technical accounting for the Pune portfolio.
• Provide high-level advisory support to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with audit teams and cross-functional finance colleagues to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Translate complex standards into actionable business insights and influence strategic decisions.
• Develop accounting policies, memos and position papers; manage complex transactions.
• Engage with external auditors and senior stakeholders; support financial reporting and disclosures.

• – We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our Pune office as a Director of Technical Accounting. In this strategic leadership role, you will serve as the primary subject matter expert, navigating complex accounting challenges and providing high-level advisory support to our diverse portfolio of clients.
• – You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, audit teams, and internal finance functions to ensure seamless compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks. By translating intricate financial standards into actionable business insights, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial integrity of our organization and our clients, directly influencing long-term fiscal strategy and operational excellence.
• – Strong hands-on experience in Technical Accounting, Accounting Advisory, and Financial Reporting.
• – Expertise in US GAAP and/or IFRS and accounting research.
• – Experience handling complex and non-routine accounting transactions.
• – Strong exposure to technical accounting memos, accounting policies, and position papers.
• – Experience across areas such as Revenue Recognition, Leases, Business Combinations, Consolidation, Investments, Debt/Equity, Impairment, and Share-based Payments.
• – Exposure to new accounting standard implementation and assessment of accounting implications.
• – Strong experience in financial reporting, disclosures, and audit support.
• – Ability to work with senior stakeholders, external auditors, and cross-functional teams.
• – Big 4, Accounting Advisory, or Technical Accounting background preferred.
• – Industry profiles can also be considered, provided they have strong core technical accounting experience.
