Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a Global Testing Delivery Leader (QA Director) to own testing delivery across large engagements in India. You will manage end-to-end testing programs, P&L for testing portfolio, and drive AI-enabled improvements while leading a 120+ team.

You will collaborate with client leadership on technology roadmaps, implement TCOEs, and ensure governance, risk management, and on-time delivery for ERP/Salesforce-driven transformations.

Qualifications

Must have strong commitment to testing and quality assurance.
Familiarity with the latest testing theory and practice; committed to ongoing learning.
Strong program management, project management and test management foundation with relevant professional certifications.
Hands-on experience in setting up TCOEs; implementing test process frameworks and STLC in ERP and CRM implementations; cloud migration and legacy modernization.

Responsibilities

Lead testing delivery for large engagements with multiple tracks.
Own testing project, resource planning, and P&L ownership.
Manage 120+ team members with growth, appraisals, and trainings.
Conduct governance meetings with senior stakeholders and manage escalations.
Drive AI-based improvements and new testing solutions.
Ensure testing across ERP, Salesforce, and digital transformation projects.
Manage automation coverage, ROI, and time-to-market.
Set up TCOEs and testing frameworks including STLC in ERP/CRM projects.
Collaborate with client leadership on technology roadmap and IT spend decisions.
Co-lead account mining and growth initiatives for Testing services.

Job Description:

The geography delivery Testing leader who will have complete Delivery, capability and presales ownership for testing services portfolio. He/ She will assume overall responsibility for Testing Project/Programs, stakeholder management, P&L for testing portfolio, Creating innovative solutioning, best practice and accelerators. Ensure the KPI and metrics are tracked and presented. Drive value adds and track the saving across projects.

Responsibilities

Looking for a very Strong QA delivery leader driving TCOE and should have proven experience in handling large engagement customers which have multiple tracks of the project.
Responsible for Testing Project, Resource Planning and P&L Ownership
Manage 120+ Team with Carrier growth, Appraisals and Trainings
Conduct governance meetings with Sr. stakeholders and ensure project escalations are managed
Ensure Improvements by AI usage and implementation of new solution and run continuous improvements
Estimations as per client requirements
Ensure regular participation in execution for complex ERP, Salesforce and digital transformation projects within the portfolio, track outcomes and facilitate risk mitigation and issues resolution
Manage Automation solution and ensure Automation coverage improvements, ROI and Time to Market
Hands-on experience in setting up TCOEs; implementing test process frameworks and STLC in ERP systems (preferably SAP / Oracle / JDE) and CRM (Salesforce) implementation and rollout programs; cloud migration and legacy modernization of enterprise scale applications
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with good customer orientation
Manage Customer communication with Senior Client Stakeholders and manage relationship with customer stakeholders
Manage Testing SLA/KPI and ensure the delivery is within Limit
Detailed Review & Governance of all programs/projects thoroughly, ensure that projects are achieving milestones with quality deliverables, Zero production defects
Own value delivery, innovation, and continuous process and system improvements across portfolio engagements
Collaborate with client leadership on technology roadmap and business plans, influence IT spend /project decisions and align and work with account managers to re-calibrate account strategy for Testing portfolio growth
Co-lead account mining activities with account managers to support business growth for Testing services
Track and monitor Risk and Issues at the program level and ensure its addressed timely for project/program delivery.

Responsible for resource management and optimized utilization throughout the course of STLC lifecycle; handling team dynamics & conflicts, performance reviews, team build up and issue resolution
Maintain engagement records and conduct periodic review of engagement performance and business plans with Birlasoft senior management
Manage Knowledge Management across various towers
Constantly monitor skill gaps in the team and ensure they are mitigated and planned
Upskilling the team to ensure they delivery to the technology and process changes.
