Job summary

MKS Inc. in Bengaluru (Whitefield) is seeking a Senior Tester Engineer to lead testing across SAP and non-SAP applications, including SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, and Workday.

You will drive test automation using Tosca, qTest, and AI-enabled approaches, mentor juniors, and coordinate with global teams across time zones. You will play a key role in validating complex enterprise processes, maintaining RTMs, and delivering high-quality solutions through end-to-end testing, including UAT and go-live

Job Title

Sr. IT QA Test engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tester Engineer with strong expertise in testing complex enterprise applications across integrated business environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This role requires the ability to lead testing activities across multiple systems, drive defect management processes, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality business solutions. The Senior Tester will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing end-to-end testing activities across SAP and non-SAP applications, including SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, Workday, and other enterprise platforms. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, and project teams to validate business processes, ensure requirements traceability, and maintain high quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will have hands‑on experience leading FIT, SIT, and UAT cycles, facilitating defect triage sessions, managing test artifacts, and driving test automation initiatives using modern testing tools and frameworks. Experience with Tricentis Tosca, qTest, AI-enabled testing approaches, performance testing methodologies, and quality engineering best practices is highly desirable. This role also requires strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, including mentoring junior team members, tracking and reporting testing KPIs, supporting go‑live and hypercare activities, and collaborating effectively with global teams across different time zones. The candidate will play a key role in advancing test automation, improving testing processes, and driving continuous quality improvements across enterprise transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies, plans, and test cases for Oracle EBS with Tosca
• Perform functional, integration, regression, Performance Testing and UAT testing
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders

• Automate test cases using testing tools where applicable

Required Skills

• Perform hands‑on manual and automated testing across enterprise systems, including Functional, Integration, UAT, Performance Testing and Regression testing
• Develop, maintain, and optimize: Test scripts, Test data sets, Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs)
• Lead test readiness activities, including Test planning and scoping, Test script development, Test execution scheduling
• Drive adoption of test management standards and best practices, ensuring consistent and scalable processes
• Expand and enhance the test automation footprint, including script development, review, and deployment
• Own and drive testing KPIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed targets
• Support end-to-end transformation initiatives, including requirements gathering through go-live and run-phase support
• Collaborate closely with global stakeholders (including US teams) and offshore partners for efficient delivery
• Comfortable collaborating across time zones and geographies including US.

Technical Skills

• Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle EBS, Finance, and Web Applications
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks. Tricentis Tosca with qTest Preferred.
• Good understanding of Use of AI in Test Automation and optimizing testing processes across all test phases.
• Use of Power BI or any dashboarding tools for publishing defects across portfolio
• Ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets to inform testing strategies.
• You will also focus on evolving predictive and intelligent testing approaches, leveraging automation and innovative testing products and solutions to drive improvements in quality engineering.

Additional Information

• The candidate should have minimum 4+ years of experience in Oracle Testing with Tosca
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• Office is in Whitefield and follow Hybrid approach
• Work Mode: Hybris (2-3 days/week)
