Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders, CXOs, technology companies, MNCs and startups.
• Identify, plan and implement industry-sponsored labs and Centres of Excellence across the Group.
• Develop collaborations for lab infrastructure, platforms, sponsored projects and certifications.
• Drive applied research, faculty development, student innovation, live projects and tech transfer.

Job Description

Rathinam Group of Institutions is looking for a dynamic, industry-connected leader to drive the establishment and growth of Centres of Excellence (CoEs), industry partnerships and innovation initiatives across the Group.

We are seeking a professional who can connect with industry leaders and technology companies, analyse emerging technologies and industry requirements, identify strategic opportunities, and translate them into fully operational, industry-aligned CoE laboratories and innovation ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and leverage strong relationships with industry leaders, CXOs, technology companies, MNCs and startups.
• Identify, plan and implement industry-sponsored technology laboratories and Centres of Excellence, such as Intel Labs, Apple Labs and other relevant technology labs, subject to partnership feasibility.
• Develop strategic collaborations for lab infrastructure, technology platforms, sponsored projects, research and professional certifications.
• Drive applied research, faculty development, student innovation, live projects and technology commercialisation.
• Collaborate with academic, research and innovation teams to align CoE initiatives with industry needs.
• Explore corporate sponsorships, research grants, consultancy opportunities and sustainable business models for CoEs.
• Monitor implementation, utilisation and measurable outcomes of all CoE initiatives.
