Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in Training, Learning & Development within BPO or healthcare.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing large-scale training programs in RCM or similar services.
• Strong knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management processes, healthcare billing and coding, regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement company-wide training strategy aligned with business objectives and client requirements.
• Lead design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs for new hires, existing employees, and leadership teams.
• Mentor trainers and Learning & Development professionals; ensure consistent standards across service lines.
• Oversee onboarding and upskilling programs to strengthen RCM capabilities.
• Design training for client-specific processes and expectations; ensure outcomes meet client service standards.
• Ensure training complies with HIPAA and relevant regulatory standards; lead certification initiatives.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Director - Training (RCM) to lead the organization's training and learning strategy across Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and BPO operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing company-wide training programs, leading the training function, strengthening RCM knowledge, driving performance improvement, and ensuring training initiatives are aligned with business objectives, client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Training Strategy & Leadership

Develop and implement a comprehensive training and development strategy aligned with business objectives and client requirements. Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs for new hires, existing employees, and leadership teams. Manage, mentor, and develop trainers and Learning & Development professionals. Ensure consistent training standards and delivery across service lines.

RCM Knowledge & Capability Development

Ensure training programs cover key RCM functions, including billing, coding, claims management, payer relations, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop role-specific training content. Keep training programs updated with changes in healthcare, RCM processes, technology, and regulations. Build learning programs for roles such as medical coders, billing specialists, and claims professionals.

Performance Improvement

Analyze operational performance metrics to identify training gaps. Develop targeted learning interventions to address performance and productivity challenges. Track training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, KPIs, and business performance metrics. Partner with Operations leadership to improve quality, efficiency, and employee engagement.

Onboarding & Upskilling

Oversee comprehensive onboarding programs for new employees. Ensure new hires receive the knowledge and skills required to transition effectively into operations. Develop and manage upskilling programs for existing employees. Build continuous learning initiatives to strengthen RCM capabilities.

Client-Focused Training Design

Design training programs based on client-specific processes, systems, standards, and expectations. Act as a key point of contact for clients on training-related requirements. Ensure training outcomes consistently meet client expectations and service standards.

Compliance & Certification

Ensure training programs comply with applicable healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA requirements. Lead employee certification and compliance training initiatives. Support relevant RCM and coding certification programs.

Budget & Technology Management

Manage the training department's budget and ensure effective allocation of resources. Evaluate and implement Learning Management Systems (LMS), virtual learning tools, and other training technologies. Use digital learning platforms to improve learner engagement and training effectiveness.

Candidate Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 12 years of experience in Training, Learning & Development, or related functions within the BPO or healthcare industry. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing large-scale training programs in RCM or similar services. Strong knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management processes, healthcare billing and coding, regulatory compliance, and payer systems. Experience working with LMS and digital learning platforms.
