Qualifikationen

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Freshers eligible).
• ITI in Fitter or Electrician trades (Freshers eligible).
• Experience up to 1 year is eligible.

Aufgaben

• Assist MMS erection and installation per approved drawings.
• Support MMS alignment, levelling and measurements under supervision.
• Assist solar PV module installation and securement on MMS structures.
• Perform bolt tightening and mechanical assembly tasks as instructed.
• Support daily MMS erection targets and maintain safety and quality.
• Assist in DC/AC cable laying, routing, dressing and termination under supervision.
• Assist in electrical panel installation, wiring, testing, and pre-commissioning preparations.
• Assist in earthing, grounding, cable tray installation and inspections.

Job Summary

BACS is hiring Diploma Trainee Engineers and ITI Trainee Technicians for Solar Power Project Execution at various project locations across India.

Selected candidates will receive practical, on-site technical exposure to Solar Module Mounting Structure (MMS) Erection, Solar Panel Installation, Mechanical Assembly, AC/DC Cable Laying, Electrical Installation, Earthing, Testing and Pre-Commissioning Activities.

Candidates will work under experienced site engineers and supervisors, gaining practical knowledge of solar project construction, installation, quality standards and safety procedures.

This opportunity is suitable for Diploma and ITI freshers seeking to develop technical careers in the Solar Power and Renewable Energy sectors.

Role & responsibilities

Key Roles & Responsibilities Solar MMS (Mechanical Works)

1. Module Mounting Structure (MMS) Erection

• Assist in the assembly, erection and installation of solar Module Mounting Structures according to approved engineering drawings.
• Support the installation of structural members, brackets, rails, clamps, fasteners and other MMS components.

2. Structure Alignment & Levelling

• Assist in checking MMS alignment, levelling, spacing, orientation and structural positioning.
• Support measurements and dimensional checks under the guidance of site engineers.

3. Solar Module Installation

• Assist in solar PV module handling, positioning, mounting and securing onto installed MMS structures.
• Ensure proper module alignment, spacing and installation according to approved procedures.

4. Bolt Tightening & Mechanical Assembly

• Perform assigned bolt tightening, fastening and mechanical assembly activities using appropriate tools.
• Assist in torque verification and inspection as instructed by the technical supervisor.

5. Daily Work Execution & Productivity

• Support daily MMS erection and module installation targets as assigned by site supervisors.
• Maintain discipline, teamwork, work quality and timely completion of assigned activities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities Solar AC/DC Electrical Works

1. DC Cable Laying & Dressing

• Assist in DC cable laying, routing, dressing, tagging and securing according to approved cable layouts.
• Support cable management and protection against mechanical damage.

2. Solar Module & String Connections

• Assist in solar module interconnections, string cable routing and connector installation under authorized supervision.
• Follow approved polarity verification and electrical connection procedures.

3. AC Cable Installation

• Support AC cable laying, dressing, identification and installation through cable trays, conduits and designated routes.
• Assist authorized personnel with cable termination and connection activities.

4. Inverter & Electrical Panel Installation

• Assist in positioning, installation and inspection of inverters, electrical panels and associated equipment.
• Support cable routing, gland fitting, termination preparation and related installation activities.

5. Earthing & Grounding Systems

• Assist in the installation of earthing conductors, earth strips, bonding connections and associated grounding components.
• Support inspection of earthing connections according to approved project specifications.

6. Cable Tray & Conduit Installation

• Assist in the installation of cable trays, supports, conduits and cable management systems.
• Follow approved installation drawings, routing requirements and workmanship standards.

7. Electrical Testing & Inspection

• Assist authorized engineers and technicians during continuity checks, insulation resistance testing and electrical inspections.
• Support testing documentation and reporting of identified installation defects.

8. Pre-Commissioning Support

• Assist in electrical system inspections, cable identification, connection verification and pre-commissioning preparations.
• Perform assigned support activities under qualified technical supervision.

• Willingness to learn practical Solar MMS and AC/DC Electrical installation work.
• Physically capable of performing assigned outdoor site activities, subject to applicable fitness and safety requirements.
• Willingness to relocate and work at PAN India solar project locations.
• Good discipline, teamwork, learning attitude and commitment to safety.
