Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus India Pvt. Ltd is seeking a seasoned professional for a permanent role in Cabin and Chassis, based in Pune with a hybrid work model. The candidate will drive digital planning, digital twin development and production- planning transformations across multiple trades.

Experience of 6–8 years in digital manufacturing, PLM/CAx tools, and Dassault/Siemens environments is essential, along with strong communication and teamwork to push ergonomic, efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Develop digital planning methods and digital twin of process and product data.
• Analyze planning processes and drive digital transformation with data-based solutions.
• Integrate data from product, process and resource with a reliable database.
• Specify requirements for simulation, visualization and data generation.
• Identify use cases, pilot projects and develop the digital twin across trades.
• Optimize production processes with digital tools, considering ergonomics and productivity.
• Virtually evaluate layouts, material flows and process chains to reduce risks and increase efficiency.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement digital manufacturing strategies for production planning.
• Collaborate with PLM, CAx, automation and visualization teams.
• Lead digital factory projects from concept to deployment.
• Ensure data integrity and interface with Data Lab/ETL environments.

To ensure that you will-

• You will develop modern digital planning methods and build the digital twin of process and product data as a central tool for production planning.
• You will analyze existing planning processes and drive their digital transformation with innovative, data-based solutions.
• You integrate and harmonize data from different sources (product, process, resource) and ensure a consistent, reliable database.
• You will specify requirements for simulation, visualization and data generation and transfer them into powerful IT tools.
• You will identify relevant use cases, implement pilot projects and develop the digital twin across all trades.
• You optimize production processes with the help of digital tools in terms of ergonomics and productivity taking into account the deployment of employees.
• You will virtually evaluate layouts, material flows and process chains, reduce risks and increase efficiency Quality and flexibility of production.
• B.E (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering/automation, mechatronics)
• You are proficient in modeling, simulation and virtual commissioning (VIBN) - includingstructured configuration and version management as well as data management.
• Hands-on experience in Digital Manufacturing / Production Planning / Simulation, and Dassault tools (e.g. CATIA,
• DELMIA, 3DX) as well as experience with 3D tools.
• You have in‑depth knowledge of Siemens‑Tecnomatix (PD/PS) and Dassault tools (e.g. CATIA, DELMIA, 3DX) as well as experience with 3D tools.
• You have field‑proven system and integration understanding in PLM, CAx, automation and visualization systems and move confidently at the interface to the Data Lab team (APIS, Events, ETL, Data-Pipelines).
• You have practical experience in digitalization projects related to digital factories, factory planning and End‑to‑end planning processes.
• You have the basics of production planning as well as a strong interest in new technologies, IT platforms and cloud solutions.
• You demonstrate strong communication skills, a collaborative team spirit, and a high level of commitment. You are capable of handling complex topics and presenting technical content clearly and effectively
