Job summary

Ambit Software in India seeks a skilled Business Analyst for manufacturing domains with Digital Twin experience to evaluate processes and drive optimization. You will lead requirements analysis, collaborate with engineering teams, and deliver reports and BRDs.

Based in Pune or Delhi NCR, the role involves travel to client locations across India and abroad, immediate joining, and hands-on work with Industry 4.0 technologies to modernize business systems and ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Manufacturing domain is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience or exposure to Digital Twin solutions is mandatory.
• Experience with Industry 4.0, IIoT, Smart Manufacturing, MES, SCADA, PLM, or ERP solutions will be preferred.
• Experience in creating detailed reports and delivering presentations.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience in leading and supporting successful projects.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Evaluating manufacturing business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
• Leading ongoing reviews of manufacturing processes and developing optimization strategies using Digital Twin and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Staying up to date on the latest manufacturing processes, Digital Twin platforms, and IT advancements to automate and modernize business systems.
• Leading meetings and presentations to share ideas, business requirements, and findings with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Performing business and functional requirements analysis.
• Documenting and communicating the results of business analysis activities.
• Effectively communicating insights and implementation plans to cross-functional teams and management.
• Gathering critical information from meetings with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and clients and producing detailed reports.
• Working closely with clients, technical teams, solution architects, and project managers to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Ensuring Digital Twin solutions meet business needs and functional requirements.
• Performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validating business requirements.
• Updating, implementing, and maintaining business processes and standard operating procedures.
• Serving as a liaison between business stakeholders, users, and technical teams.
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
• Travelling to client locations across India and globally as per business requirements.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Experience in the Manufacturing domain is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production operations, asset lifecycle management, and plant operations.
• Excellent documentation skills, including preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flow documentation.
• Experience in performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• A track record of following through on commitments.
• Excellent planning, organizational, stakeholder management, and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
