Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus India Pvt. Ltd in Pune invites an experienced ASPICE assessor to lead supplier evaluations and strengthen software quality across automotive programs. You will plan PAM assessments, review processes, collect evidence, and report findings to stakeholders.

Role requires 5–8 years in automotive software or systems engineering, with INTACS competency and strong knowledge of ASPICE PAM, cybersecurity ISO21434, and ISO26262, working across OEMs and Tier-1s.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
• 5-8 years of industry experience in automotive software, systems engineering, quality assurance, or process improvement.
• Experience with automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or semiconductor organizations.
• Proven experience conducting ASPICE assessments for suppliers or internal projects.
• Intacs certified Competent Assessor and holding active certificate.
• Strong knowledge of ASPICE PAM and capability determination process.
• Past Software Assessment Experience with Automotive SPICE and Cybersecurity or comparable process maturity models
• Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity ISO21434 and Functional Safety ISO26262
• Knowledge of Complex Embedded systems development and related quality management methods.
• Familiarity with requirements management, configuration management, and defect tracking tools such as DOORS, Polarion, Codebeamer, Jira, ALM, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct ASPICE assessments for suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier engineering processes and determine compliance against ASPICE requirements and capability levels.
• Lead assessment activities including assessment planning, evidence collection, interviews, process reviews, and reporting.
• Analyze assessment findings, identify process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare detailed assessment reports and present findings to supplier management and internal stakeholders.
• Track and support closure of assessment findings and improvement actions.
• Ensure consistency and objectivity in ratings and assessment outcomes.
• Collaborate with supplier quality, engineering, project management, and functional safety teams.
• Support organizational process improvement initiatives based on assessment results.
• Participate in assessment calibration activities and maintain assessor competency.
• Support the project team members for internal software quality assurance activities.
• Manage all Software Quality related aspects of ongoing vehicle development project.
• Plan and conduct quality activities for the MAN internal software development.
• Track the Project Quality metrics, derive actions and support the development teams.
• Identify process improvements in management of defects in the currently running projects.

Your Tasks –

As part of your role, you will be responsible for Lead development, validation and enhancement of hardware in loop testing activities for commercial vehicles (for brake, steering & Air functions for Existing and future global demand).

To ensure that you will-
