Diet Billing Executive is responsible for preparing and processing patient diet-related bills, coordinating with dietitians, kitchen services, nursing units, and the billing department, maintaining accurate dietary billing records, and ensuring timely and error-free billing for nutrition services.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare and process billing for therapeutic diets and nutrition services.


• Coordinate with dietitians, kitchen staff, nursing units, and billing teams.


• Update diet charges in the Hospital Information System (HIS).


• Resolve billing discrepancies related to diet services.


• Assist with patient queries regarding dietary billing.


• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports.


• Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and financial procedures.


• Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.


• Support audits and reconciliation of diet billing records.


• Perform additional duties assigned by the Billing Manager or Chief Dietitian.
