Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: diploma, certificate, or coursework in diamonds or gemology or related field; additional training in diamond grading is an advantage.

• Prior experience in diamond grading or jewelry quality control is beneficial but not required.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Diamond Grader role based in Indore. The Diamond Grader will examine and evaluate diamonds using microscopes, loupes, and other gemological instruments to determine characteristics such as cut, color, clarity, and carat weight. The role includes documenting grading results accurately in internal systems, following standardized protocols and quality benchmarks. The Diamond Grader will collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve discrepancies, maintain workflow, and meet daily production targets. Additional responsibilities include maintaining equipment, following safety and security procedures, and supporting continuous improvement of grading processes and training initiatives.
