GK Energy Limited is seeking a DGM Technical & Engineering Operations to lead engineering design, DPR reviews, and end-to-end project execution for utility-scale, rooftop, and solar pumping projects. You will drive technical excellence, safety, and compliance across sites with cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires strong knowledge of solar PV systems, grid integration, and proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and STAAD.Pro, along with a track record in leading large engineering teams.

Formación

• 6 to 12 years (for AGM) or 7 to 15 years (for DGM) of hands-on technical experience in Renewable Energy, Solar, Power, or Heavy Engineering sectors, with 5-7 years in a senior technical leadership role.
• Deep domain knowledge of solar PV systems, grid synchronization, substation design, and electrical safety standards.
• Proficiency in engineering design tools (AutoCAD, PVsyst, STAAD.Pro) and project management software.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional team-management capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering design, layout finalization, system sizing, and technical evaluation for solar and renewable energy projects (Utility / C&I / Rooftop).
• Review and approve Detailed Project Reports (DPR), engineering drawings, BOM, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with project management teams to ensure timely execution, erection, testing, and commissioning while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot complex technical hurdles on-site, resolve engineering bottlenecks, and optimize plant performance.
• Evaluate new-age technologies, equipment (Inverters, PV Modules, Structures, BoS components), and select tier-1 vendors.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a visionary, technically sound, and results-driven DGM Technical & Engineering Operations to lead our engineering, technical design, quality assurance, and project execution divisions. You will oversee end-to-end technical operations for utility-scale, rooftop, and solar pumping projects from concept to commissioning, driving our technological excellence.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Technical Leadership & Project Engineering:

• Spearhead engineering design, layout finalization, system sizing, and technical evaluation for solar and renewable energy projects (Utility / C&I / Rooftop).
• Review and approve Detailed Project Reports (DPR), engineering drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and technical specifications.

2. Project Execution & Commissioning Oversight:

• Collaborate with project management teams to ensure timely execution, erection, testing, and commissioning while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot complex technical hurdles on-site, resolve engineering bottlenecks, and optimize plant performance.

3. Vendor & Technology Evaluation:

• Evaluate new-age technologies, equipment (Inverters, PV Modules, Structures, BoS components), and select tier-1 vendors.
• Conduct technical audits, quality inspections, and ensure compliance with CEA, DISCOM, and grid-connection regulations.

4. Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Support:

• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for plant maintenance, performance monitoring, and asset management to maximize generation yield (PR - Performance Ratio).
• Analyze plant data via SCADA and monitoring tools to minimize downtime and improve generation efficiency.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination & Compliance:

• Coordinate closely with Business Development, Procurement (Supply Chain), Regulatory Affairs, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) teams.
• Ensure 100% statutory and safety compliances across all technical sites and manufacturing units.
