Job summary

GK Energy Limited is seeking an AGM or DGM - Logistics and Dispatch to lead end-to-end supply chain logistics, warehousing, and dispatch operations. You will manage logistics vendors, fleet operations, and compliance for domestic and international clients, driving cost efficiency and on-time delivery.

The role requires strategic leadership, experience in heavy machinery logistics, and strong ERP/Excel skills to optimize processes and reports for management review.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; B.E./B.Tech or MBA in SCM preferred.
• 5–8 years for AGM; 6–9 years for DGM; senior leadership 5–7 years.
• Experience in Renewable Energy, Solar, Power, Heavy Engineering or Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of dispatch planning, order fulfillment, primary and secondary transportation, and warehouse management.
• Negotiating contracts, freight rates, and SLAs with transport providers, 3PL/4PL partners, and shipping lines.
• Managing heavy cargo logistics, including route surveys and clearances for energy equipment.
• Overseeing finished goods inventory, stock audits, warehouse space optimization, and safe material handling practices.
• Leading and scaling the logistics and dispatch team across plants/warehouses; coordinating with Sales, Production, PPIC, and Procurement.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environment standards; developing MIS reports and dashboards.

GK Energy Limited is seeking a strategic, results-driven, and dynamic AGM / DGM - Logistics and Dispatch to lead our end-to-end supply chain logistics, warehousing, and dispatch operations. In this leadership role, you will oversee the safe, timely, and cost-effective distribution of our products to domestic and international clients, managing logistics vendors, fleet operations, and statutory compliance. Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Strategic Logistics & Dispatch Operations:
  • End-to-end management of dispatch planning, order fulfillment, primary and secondary transportation, and warehouse management.
  • Ensuring zero-defect dispatches, adherence to delivery schedules, and meeting strict turnaround times (TAT).
• Vendor Management & Cost Optimization:
  • Negotiating contracts, freight rates, and service level agreements (SLAs) with transport service providers, 3PL/4PL partners, and shipping lines.
  • Implementing cost-saving initiatives to optimize freight expenses and route mapping without compromising service quality.
• Project & Heavy Cargo Logistics (For Energy/Infrastructure):
  • Managing specialized transport for heavy components, solar/renewable energy equipment, or heavy machinery with proper route surveys and clearances.
  • Handling statutory clearances, transit insurance, e-way bills, and documentation for seamless domestic and export dispatches.
• Warehouse & Inventory Management:
  • Overseeing finished goods inventory, stock audits, warehouse space optimization, and safe material handling practices.
  • Minimizing transit damages, pilferages, and managing reverse logistics efficiently.
• Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination:
  • Leading, mentoring, and scaling the logistics and dispatch team across plants/warehouses.
  • Coordinating closely with Sales, Production, Planning (PPIC), and Procurement teams to align dispatch schedules with customer demand.
• Compliance & MIS Reporting:
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environment (HSE) standards across all logistics operations.
  • Developing and monitoring daily/monthly MIS reports, KPI dashboards, and logistics metrics for management review.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Qualification: Graduate in any discipline (B.E. / B.Tech or MBA in Supply Chain / Logistics preferred).
• Experience:
  • For AGM: 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Logistics, Dispatch, and SCM.
  • For DGM: 6 to 9 years of experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Prior experience in Renewable Energy, Solar, Power, Heavy Engineering, or Manufacturing sectors is mandatory.
• Technical & Functional Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP MM/SD modules, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel/SCM tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of GST laws, e-way bill generation, export-import documentation, and transport regulations.
• Leadership & Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional negotiation, vendor management, and crisis-handling skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage large teams and pan-India operations.
