Sify Infinit Spaces Limited is seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) Diesel Generators & Electrical Systems for its data center operations in Rabale. The role requires hands‑on expertise with large DG sets, LV/MV/HV distribution, and strong capability in troubleshooting, fault analysis, and major overhauls.

Sify Infinit Spaces Limited was created as a subsidiary to house all investments into the Data Center space, specifically colocation. As on date, Sify has 12 Data Center locations spread across India and offers approximately 200MW of IT power to the market with 2 more to be ready by the end of the year. The latest iteration of our Data Centers is AI ready, liquid cooled certified for GPX ready workloads. Apart from these, Sify has also built Data Centers for multiple state governments to house and expand their digital ambitions.

Position: Subject Matter Expert (SME) Diesel Generators & Electrical Systems
Function: Data Center Engineering / Operations
We are looking for an experienced Diesel Generator SME with strong hands‑on expertise in large-capacity DG systems and good working knowledge of LV, MV and HV electrical distribution systems, preferably from data centers, critical facilities, utilities, or large industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
Preferred Profile:
Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of relevant experience, including significant hands‑on experience with large diesel generators and critical electrical infrastructure. OEM/service experience with major DG/engine/alternator manufacturers would be an advantage.
Key expectation: This should be a hands‑on technical SME role, not purely a managerial position. The person should be capable of going to site, diagnosing complex DG/electrical problems, identifying root causes and guiding teams through corrective action and long-term reliability improvements.
