Job description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to lead the DevOps team to facilitate better coordination among operations, development, and testing functions by automating and streamlining the integration and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Technical Solution Support
  • Design and define the overall DevOps architecture/framework for a project/module delivery as per client requirement.
  • Decide on the DevOps tool & platform to be deployed aligned with the customer’s requirement.
  • Create a tool deployment model for validating, testing, and monitoring performance and provision resources accordingly.
  • Define & manage IT infrastructure as required by the supported software code.
  • Manage and drive the DevOps pipeline that supports the application life cycle across the DevOps toolchain—from planning, coding, building, testing, to release, configuration and monitoring.
  • Work with the team to create the coding and scripting needed to connect code elements that run the software release with operating systems and production infrastructure with minimum disruptions.
  • Ensure onboarding application configuration from planning to release stage.
  • Integrate security into the entire dev‑ops lifecycle to maintain data privacy and mitigate cyber risk.
• Provide Customer Support / Service on DevOps Tools
  • Timely support internal and external customers and escalations on multiple platforms.
  • Troubleshoot problems that arise during implementation of DevOps tools across the project/module.
  • Perform root cause analysis of major incidents or critical issues that may hamper project timeliness, quality, or cost.
  • Develop alternate plans or solutions based on root cause analysis.
  • Follow escalation matrix/process when a resolution is complicated or unresolved.
  • Provide knowledge transfer, share best practices with the team, and motivate.
