Job summary

Leegality, Bengaluru-based, is hiring a DevOps Engineer to ensure smooth deployments, reliable infrastructure, observability, and secure operations. You will work with backend engineers, QA, and product to automate deployment processes and maintain AWS-based production systems.

The role requires 2–3 years of AWS experience, hands-on containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and expertise in CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform, and monitoring with ELK/Prometheus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.

Brief:

As a DevOps Engineer at Leegality, you will be part of the team responsible for ensuring smooth deployments, reliable infrastructure, strong observability, and secure operations. You will work closely with backend engineers, QA, and product to automate operational processes and maintain the health of our AWS-based production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• 2-3 Years of experience with AWS deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production systems.
• Ensuring the availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.
• Manage and support AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, and Route53.
• Work with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deployments, failover planning, and environment management.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Automate deployments, environment setups, and routine operational tasks.
• Handle containerization using Docker and manage workloads in Kubernetes clusters.
• Work with Helm charts for application packaging, templating, and deployments.
• Use Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to standardize and automate environment provisioning.
• Handle basic Docker-based containerization and configuration management.
• Monitor applications using ELK, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support root-cause analysis.
• Write Python or Shell scripts for automation and efficiency.
• Ensure cloud security best practices (IAM hygiene, networking, access management).
• Collaborate with developers and QA for smooth releases.
