Job summary

UST is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to own the development, maintenance, and deployment of an enterprise FastAPI web application, handling RESTful APIs and PostgreSQL databases on Azure.

You will implement JWT-based authentication, LDAP/AD integration, manage migrations with Alembic, and process data with Pandas/openpyxl while ensuring secure secrets management with HashiCorp Vault and Azure Key Vault.

Qualifications

5–6 years of hands-on experience in full stack software development with a strong emphasis on backend technologies.
Proven experience deploying and managing workloads on Microsoft Azure.
Experience integrating applications with secrets-management platforms like HashiCorp Vault and Azure Key Vault.
Strong understanding of HTTP, REST API design principles, and web security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI and Uvicorn with a primary focus on backend development.
Implement authentication flows (JWT, OAuth2) and LDAP/AD integration for enterprise SSO.
Design and manage SQLAlchemy ORM models, Pydantic schemas, and database migrations using Alembic; manage PostgreSQL schemas and queries.
Process and ingest data from Excel and CSV sources using Pandas and openpyxl; ensure secure, scalable data handling.

What You Need
