Job summary

Flex in Chennai, India is seeking a .NET Developer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in building secure, scalable web applications on the Microsoft stack. You will design, develop and maintain applications, collaborate in a team, and contribute to SDLC activities while leveraging TDD practices.

The role requires strong knowledge of .NET, SQL Server, ORM tools, and modern web tech like Angular and Web API.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in .NET and SQL Server 2016.
• Hands-on experience with ORM like Entity Framework or N-Hibernate.
• Strong OOP understanding and communication skills.
• Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) using unit-testing frameworks.
• Developing microservices / cloud-native based applications.
• Experience with MVC, Web API and Kendo / Telerik controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new applications using .NET.
• Enhance / support existing apps using Angular, .NET 8, MVC, C#.NET, Web Services / Web API, EF/ADO.NET, SQL Server & MySQL.
• Participate in full SDLC phases.

What a typical day looks like:

• Design and build new applications using .NET.
• Enhance / Support existing applications using Angular, .Net 8, MVC, C#.NET, Web Services / Web API, Entity Framework / ADO.NET, SQL Server & MySQL.
• Participate in full SDLC phases.
• Development and write automation testing scripts in MR3 application which will be used in many sites.
• Should work independently and deliver the assigned task on time.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• .NET developer with a strong background in building: secured, scalable, high-quality and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack.
• Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) using unit-testing framework.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in .Net and SQL Server 2016 Hands-on experience in ORM like Entity Framework or N-Hibernate.
• Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in working in a team environment.
• Hands‑on experience in AWS experience is preferred.
• Developing Microservices/Cloud Native based applications.
• Experience in implementing TDD using NUnit or similar Frameworks.
• Developing Web applications using Kendo / Telerik controls for MVC.
