Job summary

Flex seeks a Techno-Functional Business Analyst in Chennai, India to bridge business needs with IT delivery. You will gather requirements, document processes, and translate them into technical specs for SAAS integrations.

The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder communication, and experience with BA methodologies. Knowledge of SQL and data visualization is a plus; ABAP/SAP knowledge is noted in job scope.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a relevant industry.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• SQL knowledge is desirable.
• Proficiency in documenting requirements using use cases, user stories, process flows, and wireframes.
• Familiarity with business analysis methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business needs, objectives, and requirements.
• Conduct analysis of existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
• Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, processes, use cases, and user stories.
• Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure proper implementation.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to elicit information from stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
• Develop prototypes or mockups to visualize solutions and gather feedback from stakeholders.
• Assist in creating test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and accuracy of implemented solutions.
• Provide support during the testing phase, addressing any issues and ensuring that solutions meet the defined requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, designers, and other team members to ensure project success.
• Monitor and evaluate implemented solutions to track their effectiveness and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

• Familiarity with business analysis methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is desirable but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of specific domain or industry trends relevant to the organization is beneficial.
