Flex is seeking an Associate Software Engineer in Chennai, India. The role targets engineering graduates eager to learn and apply knowledge in AI, data analytics, automation, and cloud computing.

You will engage in projects spanning AI, data visualization, and digital platforms while collaborating with global stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a CS/IT/AI & DS background, solid fundamentals, and familiarity with Python/Java/C#/JavaScript/SQL.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI & DS)
• Strong understanding of Programming Fundamentals & OOP Concepts, Data Structures & Algorithms, Database Management Systems, Computer Networks & Operating Systems, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Basic Cloud Concepts
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages is preferred: Python, Java, C#, JavaScript. SQL
• Should demonstrate interest in Generative AI technologies.
• Have exposure to tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms.
• Understand how AI can improve productivity, learning, coding, research, and problem‑solving.
• Be able to showcase projects, use cases, or practical applications where AI tools were leveraged.
• Active use of AI for learning, innovation, and problem‑solving will have an added advantage.
