Job summary

RS Components & Controls in Noida (Office-based) seeks a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to manage IT infrastructure, deploy hardware/software, and resolve end-user issues across locations.

You will oversee Office 365, ERP (Dynamics NAV/Business Central), Salesforce, IT assets, backups, and network security with a focus on proactive problem solving and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on IT support or desktop engineering experience.
• Graduate degree or Diploma holder in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Hardware certifications; Microsoft MCSA/MCSE preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and endpoint troubleshooting.
• Basic networking, Wi-Fi MAC filtering, and RAID array concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Salesforce administration.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and strong communication skills with a service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, OS and core software.
• Provide Tier 1–2 technical support and remote assistance for end users.
• Manage office IT infrastructure including projectors and video conferencing devices.
• Implement and manage Wi‑Fi access with MAC binding security.
• Maintain server knowledge and RAID configurations.
• Oversee Microsoft 365 Portal administration (Email, Teams, OneDrive).
• Support Dynamics NAV/Business Central and Salesforce at entry level.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Desktop Support Engineer to manage and support our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying hardware and software, troubleshooting end-user technical issues (in-person and remote), managing IT assets, and ensuring the seamless operation of our office technology and network services.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware & Software Management

• Deployment & Configuration: Deploy, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, operating systems, and core software applications.
• OS & Office Support: Install and manage Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products, ensuring optimal functionality for all end-users.

Technical Support & Infrastructure

• User Technical Support: Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for desktop hardware, software, peripherals, and remote user locations via telephonic and remote support tools.
• Office IT Infrastructure: Manage and maintain office IT infrastructure, including storage devices, projectors, and video conferencing equipment.
• Network & Access Security: Implement and manage Wi-Fi access with MAC binding security for authorized device access.
• Server & Hardware Administration: Maintain server-level knowledge and perform hardware administration tasks, including RAID configurations.

Cloud & Business Application Support

• Microsoft 365 Portal: Oversee and administer the Office 365 online portal, managing email, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive functionalities.
• ERP Administration: Provide entry-level support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 / Business Central.
• CRM Support: Provide entry-level support for Salesforce, including user management, profile administration, and list view configurations.

IT Asset & System Backup Management

• Asset & Procurement: Lead IT asset procurement and manage IT inventory to ensure hardware availability, tracking, and accountability.
• Data Backup Routines: Conduct daily activities for backup processes, including SQL database backups and file system backups.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in IT support, desktop engineering, or systems administration.
• Education: Graduate degree or Diploma holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Certifications: Hardware certification/course from a recognized institute. Microsoft Network Certification (e.g., MCSA/MCSE) is strongly preferred.
• Operating Systems & Office: In-depth knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and endpoint troubleshooting.
• Networking & Servers: Understanding of basic networking, Wi-Fi security (MAC filtering), and RAID array configurations.
• Business Applications: Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Salesforce user administration.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem‑solving skills, good communication abilities, and a service-oriented mindset for multi-location support.
