Job summary

Tractebel in Gurgaon is seeking a skilled Designer – Civil & Structural to join our team on technically demanding projects. You will generate precise 3D rebar models, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure buildable, safe designs.

The role requires at least six years in civil/structural design and hands-on experience with AllPlan, Tekla, or Revit. English communication and collaboration with international teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum six years of experience in civil and structural design.
• Hands‑on experience in 3D rebar modelling using AllPlan, Tekla, or Revit.
• Proven ability to extract Bar Bending Schedules and manage model clash resolution.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete detailing standards and construction methods.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within international and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 3D rebar models for concrete structures using tools such as AllPlan, Tekla, or Revit with RC CAD.
• Implement reinforcement detailing based on design sketches and the Reinforced Concrete Detailing Briefing Pack.
• Deliver clash-free models, resolving conflicts between rebars, anchor plates, and embedded elements.
• Execute de-clashing activities by duplicating and translating cast-in channels, earth terminals, and other embedded parts.
• Ensure all rebars are modelled in the correct layer and meet project standards.
• Perform Level 1 self-review to verify model quality, compliance, and constructability.
• Coordinate with the Area Manager to manage interdisciplinary interfaces and resolve design conflicts.
