Brightdistrict invites applications for a Project Lighting System Designer to drive lighting design and sales initiatives in the Maharashtra region. The role focuses on client interaction, project identification, consultant engagement, and technical proposal preparation for in-house lighting products.

This field-based position requires travel across Maharashtra, collaboration with architects and engineers, and reporting to the Vasai Factory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in lighting design and sales is preferred.
• Willingness to travel across Maharashtra.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients daily to understand project requirements and promote Brightdistrict lighting solutions.
• Identify and track new lighting projects across the region.
• Build strong relationships with architects, consultants and decision-makers to specify Brightdistrict/ILLUMT.
• Prepare tender quotations, technical proposals, and BOQs based on project needs.
• Select and specify products per project lighting and electrical specs.
• Coordinate with design and technical teams for proposal accuracy and feasibility.
• Achieve monthly sales targets by generating and closing project enquiries.
• Stay updated on market trends and consultant specifications.
• Represent the brand professionally during client visits and site meetings.
• Report daily activities and project status to Vasai Head Office.

Required Skills

• Dialux / Relux ligh¢ng design prociency (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of electrical and electronic product specica¢ons.
• Excellent English communica¢on, presenta¢on, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel extensively across Maharashtra.
• Strong analy¢cal mindset and a¢en¢on to detail.
• Prociency in MS Oce (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for repor¢ng and documenta¢on.
