Job summary

Asian Paints Limited invites applications for a Design Executive to drive store development and sales support across stores in the Ahmedabad region. The role requires liaising with architects, interior designers, builders, and in-store designers to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The candidate will lead a team of interior designers and project managers, coordinate with dealers, and ensure high standards of space planning, mood boards, and product knowledge to boost store performance.

Qualifications

• B Arch graduates with minimum 3 years experience in design/build roles.
• Bachelor in Interior Design or Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience in interiors.
• Experience within Asian Paints as DA (design assistant) with 3 years in AP.
• Experience as TL (team lead) within Asian Paints for 1–2 years.

• Store business development initiatives by engaging with architects/interior designers, builders, in-store designers and associates.
• Manage multiple stores across geography for maintenance, dealer coordination, and new store launches.

Description

• Developing and maintaining process of requirement gathering.
• Hiring and induction of new joinees in store teams
• Communicating with internal teams for pricing and order processing
• Handling escalations
• Coordinating with IT, Brand team, Design cell to facilitate all necessary information to Store Teams
• Coordinating and managing high value, high profile projects
• Good AP Product knowledge
• Setting standards for creation of the space plan & mood board
• Helping in maintaining Store's P&L
• Mentoring teams to correctly guide the customer in selection of material, design concept, feasibility, and Functional usage.
• Facilitating regular maintenance and order placement for Store upgrade
• Completing the promises given in categories with the design concept selling.
• Adhering to the consultation process and reports follow-up.
• Communicating all new initiatives planned centrally to store teams and ensuring optimum followup for impact
