Job summary

V2Soft, Inc. is seeking an EV wiring harness engineer to design HV/LV harnesses for electric vehicles and develop 3D routing and mounting solutions. You will prepare 2D drawings, BOMs and supporting documentation, while coordinating with BMS, inverter and OBC teams to ensure safe, compliant harness integration.

You will work with CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE or Creo, produce design documentation, and support reviews, changes and production issues in a fast-paced automotive environment from Chennai, India.

Qualifications

• Design and route HV/LV wiring harnesses for electric vehicles.
• Develop 3D harness routing, geometric bundles, branch routing, clips, connectors and mounting arrangements.
• Work with CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE, Creo or equivalent harness design tools.
• Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings, harness layouts, BOM and design documentation.
• Support electrical integration of BMS, inverter, OBC, DC-DC and other components.
• Ensure routing feasibility, packaging, bend radii, clearances and abrasion protection.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, packaging, manufacturing and supplier teams.
• Support design reviews, engineering changes, drawing releases and production issues.
• Follow automotive electrical and HV safety requirements.
