Job summary

Jyoti Technical Services in Pune region seeks a mechanical/tool engineer to design tooling under senior guidance. You will prepare manufacturing drawings in AutoCAD and design small to medium tools using CATIA and UG NX.

The role includes solving shop-floor issues and contributing to tool room activities within the automobile tooling segment. The ideal candidate has BE or Diploma in mechanical disciplines with relevant tool design exposure and knowledge of GD&T, heat treatment, and BOM creation.

Qualifications

• Must be a mechanical or tool engineer with marks above the required threshold.
• Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes is essential.
• Experience or exposure to heat treatment and material properties is expected.
• Ability to estimate cutting, bending, and draw loads through design calculations.
• Familiarity with constructing draw/trim/flanging dies and cam dies.
• Ability to prepare and review BOMs.

Job Description and responsibilities : -

• Will be designing tools under guidance of Group leader.
• Making Manufacturing drawings in Auto CAD
• Design of small & Medium tools in Catia and UG Nx
• Resolving certain shop related problems

Desired profile of the candidate : -

• Should be a mechanical or tool engineer with more than 60% marks IN SSC & +2.

Required Skill Set ( tool engineering) : -

• 1. Should have knowledge in GD & T
• 2. Knowledge in Manufacturing processes
• 3. Should have knowledge on Heat treatment
• 4.Thorough knowledge on Materials, Heat treatment and usage for various applications
• 5. Good in design calculation for estimating the cutting, bending & Draw loads
• 6.should be well know to the generic construction of draw/ trim/ flanging and cam dies
• 7. should be able to make BOM.
