Job summary

ANNORAH VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED in Kerala, India, invites applications for a Design Engineer / Sr. Design Engineer - Tool Design at Yelahanka/Bangalore to lead progressive and stage tool development for sheet metal, handling thickness from 0.10 mm to 5.00 mm, and drive innovative tooling solutions.

You will follow ISO documentation procedures, mentor junior designers, and coordinate with the tool development team to achieve right-first-time, efficient designs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in press tool design with 3–7 years.
• Strong CAD proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks/UG NX.
• Knowledge of tool steels and die components (Misumi/Fibro).

Responsibilities

• Design progressive and stage tools for sheet metal.
• Handle sheet thickness 0.10 mm to 5.00 mm.
• Develop innovative and productivity-focused tool designs.
• Follow ISO documentation procedures.
• Guide and mentor junior designers.
• Coordinate with tool development team for design improvements.

Required Skills

• AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Unigraphics/NX.
• Knowledge of tool steels and standard die components (Misumi, Fibro, etc.).
• Understanding of ferrous/non-ferrous sheet metal properties and tool material selection.
• Strong focus on right-first-time design approach.

Qualification

Post Diploma / Postgraduate in Tool Design (NTTF/GTTC/PSG preferred) with min. 3 yrs - 7 yrs exp. in Press Tool Design
