Job summary

Indovance is seeking a civil engineer with 3–6 years of design experience in land development. You will work on site plans, grading, drainage, and hydrologic analyses for residential and commercial projects, ensuring client requirements and codes are met.

You will mentor junior staff, prepare engineering concept and detailed designs, and provide support to graduate engineers while coordinating with clients to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• 3–6 years of design experience in land development.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated with Civil 3D software and civil engineering practices.
• Prepare site plans, grading plans, pavement design, drainage area maps and hydrologic analysis.
• Work on residential and commercial site development projects.
• Ensure designs meet client requirements and codes.
• Apply civil engineering principles and manage projects to meet timelines.
• Mentor junior project team members and interns.
• Prepare concept and detailed design plans and manage documentation.
• Provide technical support to graduate engineers.
• Conduct meetings with the client.

Job Description

Position objective:

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Civil 3D software and civil engineering practices.
• Good in Site plan, Grading plan preparation, pavement design Pre and post condition drainage area maps and Site hydrologic analysis, Storm water Hydraulic analysis, Underground utility plan preparation (Water/ sewer), Erosion control Plans, Storm water management plan and reports (Design of detention ponds)
• Experience in working of Residential and commercial site development projects.
• Ensuring designs meet client requirements and recognized codes and standards
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Managing projects to ensure they are delivered on time, and to client expectations.
• Mentoring junior members of project teams and interns.
• Preparing engineering concept plans, detailed design plans, and managing documentation.
• Providing technical support to graduate engineers.
• Conduct meetings with the client.
