Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. in Pune Khadki invites an experienced Design Engineer – Electrical for the Industrial Department. The officer/engineer role focuses on understanding electrical requirements and converting them into robust design specifications for diesel and gas engines.

You will work within the Research & Development Business Unit on permanent basis. The position requires hands-on knowledge of circuits, wiring harness design, CAD/E Plan, and 3D modelling tools, along with change

• Understanding electrical requirements and translating to design specs.
• Experience with DFMEA, DFM and IMS exposure.
• Experience in testing electrical systems for engines.
• Experience in managing electronic lab.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring harness and components design.

Responsabilidades

• Translate electrical requirements into design specifications.
• Manage change for electrical systems: PR, ECR, ECN.
• Ensure DFM/DFMEA clearance with cross-functional teams.
• Test electrical systems for engines.
• Maintain the electronic lab.
• Maintain electronic design tools and equipment.

Position Specific Requirements

• 1. Responsible for understanding the electrical technical requirements and converting it into design specifications.
• 2. Responsible for Change management for electrical system; PR, ECR and ECN;
• 3. Responsible for the DFM and DFMEA clearance along with the CFT.
• 4. Responsible for testing different electrical systems related to engine.
• 5. Responsible for managing the electronic lab.
• 6. Responsible for maintaining the electronic tools.

Position Specific Skill:

• 1. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of electronic circuits and diagrams
• 2. Should have good knowledge of electrical wiring harness design and its child components etc.
• 3. Should have knowledge of Auto CAD / E Plan and 3D solid modelling tool like ProE.
• 4. Should have the knowledge of Change management, DFMEA, DFM and IMS.
• 5. Should have hands on experience of analysing and troubleshooting the electrical problems in wiring harnesses and sensors used in CRDI diesel engines, Gas engines etc.
