Job summary

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and adherence to engineering drawing standards, GD&T, and DFMEA/DFM/DFA methodologies. 6–10 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Creo CAD software (Creo) and engine component modeling.
• Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Familiarity with engineering drawing standards.
• Experience with DFMEA, DFM, DFA design tools.

Responsibilities

• CAD Modeling: create/modify 3D models and generate 2D drawings from 3D models.
• Data Management: organize CAD data and ensure data integrity.
• Design Support: provide technical support during design reviews and analysis.
• Manufacturing Support: release manufacturing drawings and ensure manufacturability; interact with suppliers.

Job Description

CAD Modeling:

• Create and modify 3D models of engine components and assemblies.
• Ensure model accuracy and compliance with engineering specifications and design requirements.
• Generate 2D drawings and technical documentation from 3D models.

Data Management:

• Maintain and organize CAD data and files.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure data integrity and accessibility.

Design Support:

• Provide technical support to CAD engineers throughout the design process.
• Assist in design reviews and analysis.
• Identify potential design issues and propose solutions.

Manufacturing Support:

• Create and release manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure design manufacturability.
• Interact with suppliers and vendors for technical discussions

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Creo - 8 CAD software
• Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledge of engine components and assemblies.
