Tata Technologies Ltd. Pune-based role focuses on leading design and delivery of interior components for door trim and related assemblies. You will oversee CATIA-based 2D/3D modeling, DFMEA, DVP, and part release activities within body engineering for OPD programmes, ensuring on-time launches.

Candidate should have 3-8 years of automotive experience, strong communication, and expertise in CATIA V5/V6, Enovia or Teamcenter, and BOM management.

Formación

• Experience leading resolution of technical and process issues within a project team.
• Knowledge of product creation, delivery, change control and change management processes.
• Automotive body cabin systems, materials, design rules, DFMEA, DVP and tests.
• Able to create 2D sections and 3D geometry using CATIA V5/V6.

• Deliver commodity plans satisfying quality, cost and time within PSW targets.

• Ensure compatibility with A-surfaces and packaging to meet vehicle targets.
• Contribute input into new feature development.

Door Trim (Design & Development)

Job Location: Pune

Scope of Role

This role is within the Door Trim - Door Trims, Tailgate Trims, Door Claddings, Pillar Capping, Finishers etc team within Body Engineering. Reporting to the departmental Group Leader with matrix reporting to the Programme Module Leader.

You'll lead the engineering design, technical development, and delivery of Interior components for new or On-going Program Development (OPD) programmes through to Launch at the Manufacturing plant achieving Supplier Parts Submission Warrant (PSW) in line with programme timing ensuring integrity of the Cabin and vehicle systems across specific programmes.

Area of Responsibility:

• Door Trim: Soft & Hard trims: Door Trims, Tailgate Trims, Door Claddings, Pillar Capping, Finishers etc
• This position is responsible for ownership of commodities and components of various projects. You will have responsibility for:
• Deliver the commodity plan to quality, cost and time, including maintaining the Worldwide Engineering Release System
• Own and deliver the Engineering Advanced Product Quality Planning deliverables
• Manage Change Request, expenditure forecasting and the relevant supplier teams in support of delivery of the programme milestones
• Manage design verification test plans, including detailed planning of test and development stages through to sign off and support Engineering test teams with rectification of issues
• Resolve compatibility with A-surfaces for technical feasibility, surrounding component packaging and vehicle attribute teams to develop designs that meet vehicle targets
• Provide input into new feature development

Essential:

• Previous experience of leading the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment.
• A good working knowledge of product creation & delivery, change control, product definition and change management processes.
• Knowledge of automotive Body Cabin systems, plastic & Sheet metal materials, Design rules, Bill of design, Bill of Process, DFMEA, DVP,DFM, Part & assembly level tests etc.
• Able to create 2D sections and 3D geometry using Catia V5/V6/TCE/Digibuck.
• Experience in using CATIA V5 & V6
• Should have good knowledge of Domain Knowledge, Parametric Modelling, BOM creation and update
• Should have good GD& T knowledge
• Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector.
• Should have good knowledge of Enovia, Teamcenter Engineering (TCE), Part release process and system
• Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.
• Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels,
• PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc
