Adept Engineering Solutions is seeking a skilled Design Engineer to lead development from concept to production. You will bridge requirements to tangible designs, create detailed blueprints, run simulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to life.

Responsibilities include translating briefs into architectures, CAD modeling with proper tolerances, prototyping, testing, and optimizing materials and costs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Translate product briefs, customer needs, and requirements into concepts and architectures.
• Create accurate 3D models and 2D drawings with tolerances and material specs.
• Build physical or virtual prototypes and direct stress, load, and performance testing.
• Evaluate material performance, production costs, and ensure manufacturability.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry, environmental, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, procurement, and marketing to streamline transitions.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer to lead the development of innovative products and components from initial concept to manufacturing production. You will bridge the gap between abstract requirements and physical reality by creating detailed blueprints, running simulations, building prototypes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :-

• Product Development :- Translate product briefs , customer needs , and technical requirements into functional concepts and architectures
• CAD Modeling :- Create accurate 3D models and 2D technical drawings using computer aided design tools , incorporating appropriate tolerances ( GD & T ) and material specifications
• Prototyping & Testing :- Build physical or virtual prototypes ; plan and direct stress , load , and performance testing to validate designs
• Material & Cost Optimization :- Evaluate material performance , examine production costs , and ensure designs are cost - effective and manufacturable
• Compliance & Safety :- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry , environment , and safety regulations
• Cross - Functional Collaboration :- Work closely with manufacturing , quality assurance , procurement , and marketing teams to streamline production transitions
• Documentation :- Write technical reports , maintain design records , and update project specifications throughout the product lifecycle

Skills & Software Knowledge :-

• Should have good knowledge of AutoCAD / Solidworks / Ansys / Mastercam
• Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes , material selection , and engineering calculations
• Soft Skills :- Excellent problem solving abilities , strong attention to detail , and clear communication skills to present ideas to stakeholders
