Job summary

Harikrishna Engineering is seeking a Design Engineer for on-site work in Kathwada, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The role requires 2+ years in mechanical design, with hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models for home industry equipment.

The candidate will prepare BOMs, perform tolerance analysis, and collaborate with production teams to ensure feasible designs, while meeting safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in machine design, preferably in small-scale or home industry manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on experience in: AutoCAD (2D drafting).
• SolidWorks (3D modeling & assembly design).
• Knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, sheet metal, machining, etc.).
• Understanding of mechanical systems, motion mechanisms, and material selection.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and machine assemblies for home industry equipment.

Key Responsibilities
