Job summary

Vsan Group in Chennai is seeking a Design Engineer to join our mechanical design team. You will design pneumatic cylinders, valves, and other mechanical systems, and create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.

Collaborate with production and R&D to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective, analyze feasibility and tolerance stack-ups, revise designs based on testing and feedback, and maintain version control for all drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• Diploma holders with strong technical experience may also be considered.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in product design, CAD modeling, or industrial equipment design.
• Experience in pneumatic or mechanical component design will be an added advantage.

• Revise existing designs based on testing, customer feedback, and performance data.
• Document designs and maintain version control for all technical files and drawings.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for prototyping and production support.

Salary Range

• ₹18,000 to ₹30,000 per month (based on qualifications, experience, and interview performance).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
