We are hiring an experienced Design Engineer with hands‑on expertise in heavy machinery, sheet metal, weldments, and manufacturing design. The ideal candidate must have strong Design for Manufacturing (DFM) knowledge and experience working in the manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Experience in sheet metal and weldments with strong Design for Manufacturing (DFM) knowledge.
• Perform hand calculations to size structural members, fasteners, and load‑bearing components.
• Hands‑on experience working with driveline systems, engines, and related assemblies.
• Develop conceptual designs and possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in 3‑D modeling, conceptual design, and creation of manufacturing drawings.
• Strong design background with exposure to product development and manufacturing workflows.
• Excellent knowledge of GD&T, dimensioning, tolerances, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with ANSI standards and AWS specifications.
• Design walkways, railings, and ladders for screens and cone crushers.
• Prepare layout drawings based on customer requirements; design and assemble belt conveyors and related structures.
• Conduct site visits to understand machine performance in real working conditions.
• Detail individual part drawings and prepare GA drawings in AutoCAD.
