Job summary

Gruner India Pvt. Ltd. in Haridwar is hiring an Engineer/GET (Design) to design, model, analyze, and optimize components meeting safety standards and manufacturing constraints. You will work under the Design Head and coordinate with multiple departments.

The role requires 1–3 years in electro-mechanical assembly/manufacturing; freshers may be considered as GET. Proficiency in Solidworks, SAP, and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.E. Mechanical with excellent academic record.
• 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in electrical/electro-mechanical product assembly/manufacturing.
• Fresher can be considered as GET.
• Must know Solidworks and basic SAP/MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Address design-related production issues with timely solutions.
• Plan and coordinate production processes and ensure materials and manpower.
• Maintain and set riveting/brazing machines for optimum use.
• Ensure productivity, quality standards and SOP adherence.
• Promote teamwork on the shop floor and effective problem-solving.
• Coordinate with other departments for issue resolution.
• Ensure safe and healthy work conditions on the shop floor.
• Drive continuous process improvement using RCA and related tools.
• Maintain production MIS and related records.

Job Title Engineer/GET

Reporting to Design Head

Department Design

Location Haridwar

Purpose

To design, model, analyze, and optimize components, products, or systems ensuring they meet functional requirements, industry safety codes, and manufacturing (or assembly) constraints within budget limits.

Key Responsibilities

1 To deal with day to day working issues in production process due to design problems and provide timely solutions.

2 To plan and coordinate all production process and ensure Material & Manpower for the achievement of day to day production targets

3 To ensure upkeep and maintenance of Riveting and brazing machine setting and other tools for optimum utilization of resources

4 To ensure manufacturing practices meet productivity and quality standards and SOPs approved by Gruner

5 To ensure a teamwork culture where the production team operates as an effective team unit on the shop floor

6 To engage on a day to day basis with other departments/stakeholders for inter functional coordination and resolution of issues

7 To ensure that associates at Gruner work under safe and healthy work condition on the shop floor

8 To ensure continuous process improvement by applying various problem solving and root cause analysis tools.

9 To maintain and update production related MIS.

Experience

• Must have thorough knowledge of Solidworks
• Self driven & work with responsibility.
• Sound knowledge of relative engineering field.
• Awareness of Root Cause Analysis, Process Improvement, Process Corrections, Process documentation such as SOP, Process Flows
• Strong Communication & Presentation skills
• Able to work in multifunctional teams
• Good at MS office Word, Excel & Power-point,SAP
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, and prepare sketches if necessary.
• Must be willing to relocate at Haridwar.
