Job summary

Gruner India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Engineer/GET in Design to design, model, analyze, and optimize components ensuring they meet functional and safety requirements. You will work under the Design Head in Haridwar, coordinating with production and other departments to resolve design-related issues.

The role requires BE (Mechanical), 1–3 years’ experience in electrical/electro-mechanical assembly or manufacturing, and a willingness to relocate to Haridwar. Fresher GETs are welcome.

Qualifications

• BE (Mechanical) with excellent academic record.
• 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in Electrical / Electro-Mechanical product assembly / manufacturing industries essential.
• Fresher will be considered as GET.

Responsibilities

• To deal with day to day working issues in production process due to design problems and provide timely solutions.
• To plan and coordinate all production process and ensure Material & Manpower for the achievement of day to day production targets
• To ensure upkeep and maintenance of Riveting and brazing machine setting and other tools for optimum utilization of resources
• To ensure manufacturing practices meet productivity and quality standards and SOPs approved by Gruner
• To ensure a teamwork culture where the production team operates as an effective team unit on the shop floor
• To engage on a day to day basis with other departments/stakeholders for inter functional coordination and resolution of issues
• To ensure that associates at Gruner work under safe and healthy work condition on the shop floor
• To ensure continuous process improvement by applying various problem solving and root cause analysis tools.
• To maintain and update production related MIS.

Purpose

To design, model, analyze, and optimize components, products, or systems ensuring they meet functional requirements, industry safety codes, and manufacturing (or assembly) constraints within budget limits.

Key Responsibilities

1 To deal with day to day working issues in production process due to design problems and provide timely solutions.

Educational Qualifications

Experience

1-3 years of post-qualification experience in Electrical / Electro- Mechanical product assembly / manufacturing industries Essential.

Domain/ Skills

• Must have thorough knowledge of Solidworks
• Self driven & work with responsibility.
• Sound knowledge of relative engineering field.
• Awareness of Root Cause Analysis, Process Improvement, Process Corrections, Process documentation such as SOP, Process Flows
• Strong Communication & Presentation skills
• Able to work in multifunctional teams
• Good at MS office Word, Excel & Power-point,SAP
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, and prepare sketches if necessary.
• Must be willing to relocate at Haridwar.
