Job summary

Jobixo is seeking a CAD Design Engineer to develop assembly drawings and detailed parts for both two- and four-wheeler cables using ZWCAD, Windchill, Catia and Creo. The role includes BOM creation, supplier coordination, and ensuring compliance with IS/JIS/JASO standards.

Candidate will handle drawings, notes, and specifications, manage PLM/SAP documentation, and participate in APQP/PPAP processes for new mass production parts. On-site in Gurugram, India.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD software for automotive assemblies.
• Experience creating assembly drawings, BOMs and detailed drawings.

Responsibilities

• Use ZWCAD/Windchill/Catia/Creo to create assembly drawings and BOMs for two- and four-wheeler cables.
• Prepare part drawings for forging, machining, plastics, sheet metal parts; coordinate with suppliers.
• Add notes and specs per JIS/JASO/IS/HES/SES standards.
• Manage drawings and documents in PLM/SAP; contribute to APQP/PPAP.
• Support tooling and fixture design; participate in handover for mass production.

Role & responsibilities

• Must working on ZWCAD, Windchill, Catia and Creo Software.
• Create Assembly drawings, Bill of materials and Detailed drawings for all type of Two-Wheeler & Four-Wheeler Control & Non Control Cables.
• Add Notes and Specs in Drawing Using various Standards(JIS,JASO,IS,HES,SES etc.).
• Create Part Drawing (Forging parts,Machining Parts, Plastic Moulding Parts, Sheet Metal Part etc) & Handling Development by Various Suppliers.
• Inspect Parts Using Various Instruments(Height Gauge, Vernier Caliper, Bevel Angle Protector, Micrometer, Point Micrometer, Profile Projector,Plating Thickness Tester,UTM etc)
• Responsible for making APQP,PPAP Documents.
• Responsible for controlling all theDrawings & Documents related to Design & Development.
• Responsible for Preparing Tools,Gauge & Fixtures Design as per Manufacturing feasibility.
• Preparing Drawings of Various Pneumatic Press Tools & Die Casting Tools (Die Casting Insert,Crimping,Keying,Free length Cutting etc.)
• Participate in Handover Process For Mass Production of New Developed Part.
• Responsible for Adding New Projects,New Part No. Creation, BOM & Routing in PLM & SAP.
• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
• Maintaining 5'S' & participate in KAIZEN activity.
