Job summary

Dormer Pramet is seeking an experienced Design Engineer in India to design HSS and carbide cutting tools, drills, taps, end mills, and related tooling. You will create 2D drawings and 3D models, ensure compliance with ISO/DIN/ANSI standards, and manage BOMs and design documentation in SAP.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 3–8 years of experience in cutting tool design or mechanical design.
• Strong knowledge of cutting tool geometry and machining processes.
• Familiarity with ISO, DIN, ANSI, IS standards for cutting tools.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo or NX.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop HSS and Carbide cutting tools.
