Job summary

Responsibilities

• New Product Development (NPD): Design and develop new products and conduct testing.
• Trials & Testing: Perform trials for new moulds and products.
• Coordination: Work with mold makers, factory production teams, and head office.
• Product Improvement: Improve existing product quality and upgrade designs.
• Documentation & Compliance: Prepare technical and feasibility reports and ensure ISO standards.

Job Title: Design & Development Manager

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

• 3–6 years experience in Product Design, Research & Development, or Manufacturing.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Experience with FEA software like Ansys or Abaqus.

• Understanding of mould design, material selection, and manufacturing processes.

• Knowledge of machine design and mechanisms.

Quality & Process Knowledge

• Understanding of DFMEA, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and ISO documentation.

• Knowledge of quality inspection methods and measuring tools.
