Job summary

Durus Consulting seeks a skilled CAD engineer to create geometry and drawings using Catia V5/V6 for multiple projects, ensuring data accuracy and maturity at all times.

You will support front and rear exterior trims such as bumpers, wheel claddings and air deflectors, verify manufacturing feasibility, and drive design progress within program timelines while coordinating with suppliers and plant quality teams.

Qualifications

• Create CAD geometry and drawings using Catia V5/V6.
• Demonstrate capability to support exterior trim parts (bumpers, wheel claddings, liners, air deflectors).
• Ensure data is up to date and reflects required maturity levels.
• Provide CAD support and progress design to meet program timelines.
• Ensure manufacturing feasibility and resolve issues with suppliers and plant quality.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD geometry and drawings for projects.
• Support exterior trim parts such as bumpers, wheel claddings, air deflectors.
• Keep CAD data up to date with maturity levels.

Job description

Tool: Catia V5/V6

• Responsible for creation of CAD geometry and Drawings in support of various projects.
• Responsible for: Front and rear end exterior trims parts (e.g. Front and rear bumper, wheel claddings, wheel arch liners, bumper foam, Air deflectors (upper, lower & sides) etc.
• Ensure data is up to date and reflects the required levels of maturity at any given point in time
• Provide CAD support, leading and progressing the design in line with the program timescales and deliverable cadence
• Ensure manufacturing feasibility of parts.
• Discuss & resolve all open points with manufacturing supplier, align with plant quality & pilot hall
