Job summary

Got Design in Bengaluru is seeking a design engineer with strong experience in plastics and sheet metal components for automotive applications. Proficiency in CATIA-V5 is essential, including part modelling, drafting, and assembly, with exposure to GD&T and DFM.

You will work independently and in cross-functional teams on concept design, prototypes, and safety-critical parts such as steering wheels and airbags.

Qualifications

• Experience designing plastics and sheet metal components.
• Experience in automotive industry.
• Proficient in CATIA-V5 (Part Modelling, GSD, Drafting, Assembly).
• Experience with concept design, prototypes, and analytical problem solving.
• Exposure to GD&T, stack‑up analysis, and DFM.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Experience in designing safety-critical parts (steering wheels, airbags) is an advantage.
• Product innovation experience is an advantage.
• Good team player with strong communication skills.
