Job summary

ZF India is seeking an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager Marketing to drive business development and OEM customer relationships from our Pune office. You will lead RFQ activities, market intelligence, and new business acquisition for automotive steering systems/components.

Key responsibilities include expanding the customer base with Automotive OEMs & Tier-1s, managing requirements, and coordinating with engineering, costing, quality, and production teams to convert opportunities into orders.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Electrical/Electronics is required.
• Automotive OEM/Tier-1/Auto Component experience is preferred.
• Strong skills in Marketing, Business Development, OEM Customer Management & Commercial Negotiation.

Role: Drive business development, OEM customer management, RFQ activities, market intelligence, and new business acquisition for automotive steering systems/components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new business with Automotive OEMs & Tier-1 customers.
• Manage customer relationships and business requirements.
• Handle RFQ/RFI, commercial quotations, negotiations, and order conversion.
• Identify new customers, market opportunities, and upcoming vehicle programs.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Costing, Quality, Purchase, Production & Program teams.
• Track competitors, market trends, sales pipeline, and business growth.
• Prepare MIS, business reports, and management presentations.

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Electrical/Electronics.
• Automotive OEM/Tier-1/Auto Component experience preferred.
• Strong skills in Marketing, Business Development, OEM Customer Management & Commercial Negotiation.
• Experience in Steering/Chassis/Suspension/Transmission will be an advantage.
