Job summary

HDFC Sales is seeking a capable leader with 5-7 years of experience to drive insurance product targets across OM, NPE, and PAR/ULIP. You will set team goals with Area Manager, review product mix, and ensure timely, compliant processing.

You will coach and develop the team, conduct daily calls, train FSAs/LSEs, manage performance via MIS, and maintain regulatory certifications with insurers.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 5-7 years of experience.
• Minimum 2 years of team handling experience (Mandatory).
• Must be from the Insurance industry.

Role & responsibilities

1. Business Target Achievement

• Achieve business targets across insurance products (OM, penetration, PE, NPE, etc.).
• Set team goals along with Area Manager.
• Review product mix across loan types (Equity, Housing, etc.) ensuring right share of PAR/ULIP/NonPAR products.
• Conduct morning huddles, audit DSR/sales diaries, and ensure process adherence.
• Disseminate product, process, and incentive updates to the team.
• Support recruitment by conducting interviews and ensuring manpower as per budget.
• Coordinate marketing initiatives for lead generation (corporate desk, society activities, etc.).
• Ensure smooth end-to-end case processing and quality of business (persistency, funded/non-funded mix).

2. Coaching & Team Development

• Enhance team efficiency & professional effectiveness.
• Conduct daily customer calls with team members to assess their selling & handling skills.
• Train new FSAs/LSEs on product, software, and process.
• Work with Team Manager on NPE improvement; devise PIP and ensure productivity.
• Maintain low attrition and support retention initiatives.
• Conduct exit interviews for resigned team members.

3. Performance Review & MIS

• Track and analyze business MIS, certification MIS, incentive MIS.
• Implement performance sheets with Team Managers.
• Provide monthly feedback, identify gaps, initiate and document performance improvement.
• Review KRAs and objectives every month with team members.

4. Relationship Management

• Build smooth working relationships with Mortgage AM/ASM and below levels.
• Share relevant reports and collaborate to bridge gaps between teams.
• Manage relationships with HDFC Bank RMs.
• Maintain strong coordination with insurance partners.

5. Compliance & Certification

• Ensure team compliance for selling products (IRDA, AMFI certifications).
• Drive the right quality of business and adherence to regulatory standards.
