Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in quality management for electrical switchgear.
• Knowledge of IEC61439 standards and LV switchgear testing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee Low Voltage switchboard testing (Frame Assembly) and manage Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Identify/design flaws and drive improvements to manufacturing efficiency.
• Perform statistical analysis using quality tools to reduce defects.
• Ensure monthly training for shop personnel and maintain clear communication across teams.

This position will be based at Ahmednagar Factory for Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation (A unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd.).

Designation: Deputy Manager – Quality

Location: Coimbatore

Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech (Electrical & Electronics Engineering)

Experience: 3 years to 8 years

Key Deliverables / Key Responsibilities/Deliverables (Min 4 need to be filled in decreasing order of importance)

• Low Voltage Switchboard Testing (Frame Assembly) and Factory Acceptance Test Management for Relevant Projects in accordance with the Plan
• Identifying and fixing drawing / logic flaws to improve design and manufacturing line efficiency
• Statistical Analysis Using 7 Quality Control Tools
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Make sure the shop personnel receive monthly training

Functional Competencies

• Knowledge of Low Voltage switchboard testing (Frame Assembly) in accordance with IEC61439
• Understanding of Low Voltage Switchgear, Electronics, and Power Systems
• Being familiar with low voltage switchgear and switchboard standards
• Knowledge of the Seven Quality Control Tools and Six Sigma
