Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for a Deputy Manager – Quality to strengthen its Coimbatore operations.

The role focuses on leading quality assurance for low-voltage switchgear, FAT management, and process improvements in line with IEC61439 standards. The ideal candidate holds a BE/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics and has 3–8 years of experience, with a proven ability to drive quality initiatives, train shop personnel, and collaborate across design and manufacturing

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering required.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in quality/production roles.
• Experience with Low Voltage switchgear testing and FAT management.
• Knowledge of IEC61439 standards and power systems.
• Familiarity with Seven Quality Control Tools and Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Low Voltage switchboard testing (Frame Assembly) and FAT management for projects according to the plan.
• Identify and fix drawing/logic flaws to improve design and manufacturing line efficiency.
• Perform statistical analysis using the Seven QC Tools to drive improvements.
• Ensure shop personnel receive monthly training and uphold quality standards.

This position will be based at Ahmednagar Factory for Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation (A unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd.)

Designation: Deputy Manager – Quality

Location: Coimbatore

Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech (Electrical & Electronics Engineering)

Experience: 3 years to 8 years

Key Deliverables / Key Responsibilities/Deliverables (Min 4 need to be filled in decreasing order of importance)

• Low Voltage Switchboard Testing (Frame Assembly) and Factory Acceptance Test Management for Relevant Projects in accordance with the Plan
• Identifying and fixing drawing / logic flaws to improve design and manufacturing line efficiency
• Statistical Analysis Using 7 Quality Control Tools
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Make sure the shop personnel receive monthly training

Functional Competencies

• Knowledge of Low Voltage switchboard testing (Frame Assembly) in accordance with IEC61439
• Understanding of Low Voltage Switchgear, Electronics, and Power Systems
• Being familiar with low voltage switchgear and switchboard standards
• Knowledge of the Seven Quality Control Tools and Six Sigma
